Turkish SENart Students Share Their Video Diaries After Welcoming Visitors from Spain and Lithuania in their Hometown
Updated: Sep 24
The most meaningful moments in an international school project often happen after the official activities end, when students finally sit down and put their feelings into words. That is exactly what the Turkish SENart students have done through their video diaries after welcoming their visitors from Spain and Lithuania.
In their reflections, the students looked back on the experience with honesty and warmth. They spoke about the activities they enjoyed most, the friendships they began to build, and the nervousness they had to overcome when working with students from another country for the first time.
Their messages show how powerful a shared creative project can be. SENart was not only a chance to take part in activities together. It became a space where students listened, tried, helped one another, and discovered that communication can grow even when languages and cultures are different.
By the end, the students were no longer focused on nervousness. They were focused on friendship, confidence, and the happiness of having shared something special with their SENart colleagues from abroad.
Those memories will remain an important part of their SENart journey. More than a visit, it became a reminder that creativity can bring students together, and that courage often begins with saying hello.
