Lithuanian SENarts Students Share Their Manisa Turkiye Experience and Friendship Through Art
Updated: Sep 24
A week of art can do more than fill a sketchbook. For the Lithuanian SENarts students who visited Manisa, Turkiye in January 2026, it became a chance to practise English, try new creative skills, and build friendships that felt genuine.
In their video reflections, the students speak warmly about the experience. Their memories centre on people, colour, and the confidence that grew each day.
The programme gave students plenty of ways to communicate without pressure. Activities such as ebru art and painting ceramic tiles created a relaxed setting where conversation came naturally.
The students felt their English improved during the visit. That progress came through daily life: meeting hosts, joining workshops, talking with other visitors, and sharing their thoughts in the video.
This is what made the Lithuanian SENarts Students Share Their Manisa Turkiye Experience and Friendship Through Art story so meaningful. Language growth came through trust and shared activity.
Their reflections show how international art projects can bring people together in a simple, human way. With patient hosts, shared creativity, and space to practise English, one week became a lasting experience!
